I'm definitely nitpicking, but instead of having to write :001_smile: every time I want to smile, I would much prefer writing :), which makes more sense. It's simply inconvenient to have to open the smiley list whenever I feel like emoting.
Obviously, I feel the same about every emoticon, not just the smiling one.
+1 on this one.If we can add a copy of some basic smiley like :P...

I completely agree with this, and it has been something on my mind for ages now, thanks for bringing it up.
It really does irritate me to have to write something like :smile or whatever instead of :), the :) is way more convenient and faster. I don't think it should be too hard to change but if so then just keep it the way it is, thats why i have to use this =] most of the time.

I also completely agreed with this one.. Cause, this addition will help looking TI nicer than ever.
I'll go ahead and accept this but don't expect to see it implemented any time soon. We have a very long to do list and this is a bottom of the barrel priority.
